Paper-cutting has stood as a treasure of China's folk crafts dating back to ancient times. How can an ordinary piece of paper transcend time and space while presenting the artistic vitality and contemporary dialogues?

Meanwhile, the bear holds a special place in Russian culture. It is a deeply rooted national totem symbolizing strength, protection and tenderness. When this Russian girl met China's ICH paper-cutting, she recreated her own cultural icon and cross-cultural dialogues through this delicate Eastern handcraft.

In this episode, in partnership with Bao'an Cultural Center, we invited Lebedeva Kseniia, a Russian student from Shenzhen University, to the ICH workshop and learn China's paper-cutting from Hong He, the representative inheritor of  Chinese He-style Paper-cutting.
