中国玩偶制作技艺历史悠久
但不同于其他玩偶
棉塑
作为我国珍贵的民间传统手工艺
已有近百年的历史
China boasts a long‑standing tradition
of doll‑making crafts.
However
cotton sculptures
are distinct from ordinary dolls.
This precious folk handicraft
dates back nearly a hundred years.

棉塑以棉花造型为基础
结合手工缝制、刺绣、绘染等
多道复杂工序
形成具有柔和质感的立体艺术品
Based on cotton‑based shaping,
cotton sculpture
integrates intricate processes
including hand‑stitching, embroidery
and dye‑painting, etc.
to create soft‑textured three‑dimensional art pieces.

跟随广东省级非遗棉塑项目
代表性传承人罗晓琳
亲手体验棉塑创作
In this episode,
in partnership with
Bao’an Cultural Center,
we invited Kelly Yang,
an Indonesian student
from Shenzhen University,
to the ICH workshop,
and learned how to create
a cotton sculpture
from Xiaolin Luo,
the representative inheritor
of Guangdong provincial ICH
cotton sculpture program.
