英文简介 | Xiaoshan Bai received his Ph.D. from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, and subsequently worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Delft University of Technology. He is a Vebleo Fellow and currently serves as a Distinguished Research Professor at the National Engineering Laboratory for Big Data System Computing Technology, Shenzhen University. He is also Deputy Director of the Joint Laboratory for Autonomous Unmanned Systems and Intelligent Manipulation (Shenzhen University–Northwestern Polytechnical University) and a Shenzhen Overseas High-Caliber Talent. His research focuses primarily on cooperative decision-making and control for multi-robot and autonomous unmanned systems, with particular emphasis on task assignment and path planning for multi-robot systems operating in complex environments. As Principal Investigator, he has led and secured funding for one National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) General Program project, one NSFC Young Scientists Fund project, two Ministry of Education–Industry–University Collaborative Innovation Fund projects, one Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation General Program project, and one Shenzhen Higher Education Stability Support Program project, among others. As first/corresponding author, he has published more than 60 representative SCI-indexed papers in internationally flagship journals in robotics and automation, including IEEE Transactions on Robotics, IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, Ocean Engineering, and IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters. His publications include 20 papers in prestigious IEEE Transactions journals, 28 SCI papers ranked in the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) Category 1 journals, and 38 papers published in top-tier journals. His work has also resulted in 9 ESI Highly Cited Papers, including 2 ESI Hot Papers. He received the First Prize of the 2025 Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (ranked among the top five contributors) and the 2024 IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering Best Paper Award, the sole Best Paper Award presented by the journal in 2024. He serves as a peer reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission. He is also a member of the Robotics Intelligence Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Automation, the Cluster Intelligence and Cooperative Control Professional Committee of the Chinese Command and Control Society, and the Intelligent Unmanned Systems Modeling and Simulation Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Simulation. He currently serves as an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics (IF = 9.9). |
