On the afternoon of September 12th, the "Speak Luohu" Luohu District Foreign Language Talent Show, hosted by the Luohu District Foreign Affairs Bureau and co-organized by the Luohu District Education Bureau and the Guiyuan Sub-district Office, was successfully held at the Party-Mass Service Center of Jingtian 100. Kolotnitska Yuliia, a Ukrainian student from the School of Communication, won the championship of the foreign student group with her speech titled "Luohu is a Bridge", which depicted how Luohu connects the past and the present, the mainland and Hong Kong, and China and the world. Her speech was sincere and touching. She said, "Life in Luohu has made me feel the inclusiveness and warmth. I hope to let more people know the stories of this land through language."

Omair Gzouly, an Egyptian student from the College of International Exchange , shared the funny and embarrassing moments when he was learning Chinese in a humorous and witty way. His sincerity and wit won rounds of applause and he won the runner-up in the foreigner group.

Carmen Wong, a student from Malaysia, demonstrated composure and grace with her confident and profound understanding of cross-cultural communication.
