On December 5, 2023, the College of International Exchange,Security Department, the Logistics Support Department, AVIC Property Management and student representatives formed a dormitory Hygiene and safety inspection team to carry out a comprehensive inspection of the international student dormitories in Yuehai campus. The following problems were found:

1. Personal electrical appliances, prohibited electrical appliances and high-power electrical appliances appear in the dormitory;

2. There are electricity safety risks in the dormitory, the plug discharge is placed on the bed or beside the bed, there are too many plug and socket rows, the electrical appliances are overloaded for a long time, and the electrical appliances are not powered off when people leave;

3.Clothes and obstructions around fire exit;

In order to maintain a good environment and ensure the safe use of electricity in the dormitory, please do not cook in the dormitory.The public kitchens on  the first floor of international dormitory provide public refrigerators, induction cooker and microwave.

Starting from the date of notification, the use of Personal appliances and prohibited electrical appliances will no longer be allowed in the dormitory, including: induction cooker, rice cooker, electric frying pan, electric-cooker, radiant-cooker, electric baking pan, fan heater, electric heater, electric iron, blender, electric kettle, juicer and other high-power appliances of more than 1200W. From December 12 to December 26, 2023, students are requested to remove personal electrical appliances, prohibited electrical appliances and high-power electrical appliances in the dormitory, reduce unnecessary plug and socket rows, and move them to a safe place in the dormitory.

Please strictly abide by the regulation. The College of International Exchange, AVIC Property Management and student representatives will randomly check in the dormitory from time to time. If there is any violation, the prohibited electrical appliances will be confiscated and the violators will be punished accordingly.
