On November 7, 2024, the "Charm Guangdong Living My Dreams" GALA for international students in Guangdong was held at South China Normal University. The Shenzhen University International Choir won the first prize with their touching rendition of their original song "Dream of the East," showcasing the outstanding talents of Shenzhen University's international students and the international education achievements of Shenzhen University.

"Dream of the East, Dream Fulfilled in the East." The performance by the Shenzhen University International Choir showcased the deep understanding and love for Chinese culture among the international students. "Dream of the East" was composed by Shenzhen University International Choir's director, SHIN MOONSUB (Korean), who drew inspiration from his study and life experiences in China. SHIN MOONSUB has lived in China for a long time and has a deep understanding and identification with Chinese culture, witnessing China's rapid development and rich cultural heritage.
