PROGRAM OVERVIEW | The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education at Shenzhen University aims to advance knowledge, practice, and policy in education through rigorous research, innovative scholarship, and strong partnerships with schools, communities, and policymakers. The program is dedicated to developing scholars who can contribute to educational improvement at local, national, and international levels, with an emphasis on equity, ethics, and social relevance in the context of China's rapidly evolving educational landscape. The program objectives are: ·Cultivate advanced research competencies in education, including conceptualization, design, data collection, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination. ·Produce original contributions to theory, methodology, and practice that address pressing educational challenges. ·Prepare graduates for leadership roles in higher education, research centers, policy institutes, and educational organizations. ·Foster interdisciplinary collaboration across pedagogy, psychology, technology, administration, and policy studies. ·Promote ethical research practices, cultural responsiveness, and a commitment to social justice in education.
