The 33rd APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting will be held in Shenzhen from November 18–19, 2026. Concurrently, important events such as the APEC CEO Summit and the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) meeting will take place.

In accordance with the relevant requirements of the municipal government, our university plans to form a team of international student volunteers who possess strong political integrity, professional competence, good foreign language skills, and a dedicated, service-oriented spirit, in order to fully support the successful hosting of the meetings. The pre-registration for the 2026 APEC meeting volunteer recruitment is now open to all students. The specific details are as follows:

Full-time undergraduate and graduate students

From now until 16:00, April 14

III. Pre-registration Requirements

1. Applicants should be foreign nationals who are friendly to China, law-abiding, morally sound, willing to contribute, and have no record of illegal activities or serious disciplinary violations.

2. Applicants must be at least 18 years old (born before June 30, 2008), physically and mentally healthy, with good communication and coordination skills. They must be able to participate fully in pre-service training and relevant volunteer activities in Shenzhen before December 2026, and remain enrolled at the university in November 2026.

3. Applicants should be passionate about volunteer service, willing to comply with assignment arrangements and unified management, and able to participate in the entire volunteer service. Priority will be given to those with experience in large-scale event volunteering.

4. Applicants must have attained at least HSK Level 4. Priority will be given to those proficient in Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Malay, Thai, Vietnamese, Filipino, or other less commonly taught languages.

IV. Pre-registration Process

1. Individual Application: Eligible students must carefully complete the *2026 APEC Meeting Volunteer Pre-registration Form* (Attachment 1), ensuring that all information is true and accurate. The completed form should be sent to ciestudents@szu.edu.cn before 16:00, April 14, with the email subject line formatted as: Passport Name + APEC Volunteer Pre-registration.

2. University Coordination: The university will compile all applications and submit them to the relevant authorities as required. Subsequent procedures such as selection, training, and assignment will be announced separately.

Special Notes:

1. Applicants must have attained at least HSK Level 4.

2. In the pre-registration form, the following fields do not need to be filled in: former name, ethnicity, place of origin, political affiliation, volunteer ID number. For "place of domicile," please provide your home address in your home country (specify the city and country).

3. This recruitment is open to full-time undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students who

   will still be enrolled in November 2026.

4. Please be sure to submit the required materials within the deadline. Late submissions will

   not be accepted.
