At noon on March 31, 2026, the College of International Exchange held a luncheon for international students in room 204 of Zhaoxi Building. College Dean Pan Yanchun, Associate Dean Zhang Daqiang, Deputy Party Secretary Qin Qing, along with three faculty representatives, had lunch together with five international students from different countries. They engaged in face-to-face discussions on practical issues related to their studies and daily life, sharing thoughts on the new semester’s learning and living experiences.

During the meal, the international students shared their feelings and thoughts one by one based on their recent campus experiences. The topics they focused on mainly included curriculum design and course selection, dormitory arrangements and facilities, optimization of the registration and check-in process, as well as the classroom equipment experience. The students acknowledged the College's dedication in daily management while also frankly putting forward specific suggestions for improvement.

In response to the questions raised by the students, the attending teachers provided feedback one by one. The college leadership expressed that the college fully understands and values the students’ thoughts, concerns, and practical needs. They will promptly compile and summarize the relevant suggestions, forward them to the respective administrative departments by category, and continue to follow up on the implementation. At the same time, the international students were encouraged to proactively communicate their difficulties to their academic advisors, class teachers, or student counselors whenever specific issues arose, and the college would do its best to coordinate and resolve them. The three faculty representatives also offered additional explanations based on their teaching and management experience regarding curriculum design, dormitory arrangements, and other matters.
The entire luncheon lasted about one hour, with sincere communication between the faculty and students and a relaxed atmosphere. Several international students expressed that events like this made them feel valued and cared for by the college, and gave them greater confidence in adapting to their academic and daily life in China.
