一、奖学金简介Overview

为吸引和鼓励更多优秀的外国学生来广东学习，大力推动广东省高等教育留学生工作健康快速发展，提升广东省高等教育的国家影响力和国际化水平，广东省政府于2013年开始设立“广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金”项目。

In order to attract and encourage more outstanding foreign students to study in Guangdong, vigorously promote the health and rapid development of international students studying in Guangdong Province, raise the national influence and internationalization level of higher education in Guangdong, in 2013, the Government of Guangdong Province set up the "Governmental Scholarship Program for international students in Guangdong".

二、申请条件Eligibility

1、申请人须拥有外国国籍，持有有效外国护照并符合在华留学的相关要求，年龄在40周岁以下。

2、申请人应在深圳大学就读本科，对华友好，身体健康。

3、申请人应当已在我校接受正式学历教育课程一年（含一年）以上，遵纪守法，勤奋好学，成绩优良，品行端正，没有违反中国法律法规和违反校规校纪行为纪录。

4、申请人应学习成绩优异，具有相应的汉语水平并提供相关证明（部分直接用英语授课的专业可适当放宽条件），当年度必修课课程成绩均为良好以上即必修课程成绩为B以上，上一学年平均学分绩点应为3.4以上。

5、申请人必须是当年没有享受中国政府各类奖学金、孔子学院奖学金、校级优秀学生奖学金及其他任何中国各级政府资助形式。

1. The applicants must possess foreign nationality, hold valid foreign passport and be under 40-years-old.

2. The applicants must be undergraduate students of Shenzhen University, be in good health and be friendly to China.

3. The applicants must have already attended degree courses for one year or above at Shenzhen University, have a good academic and moral performance, and abide by Chinese law, regulations as well as university rules.

4. The applicants must master good level of Chinese language skills and are able to provide relevant statement (except for students studying in English-taught programs), and grades of their compulsory courses of that academic year must be B or above. GPA of that academic year must be 3.4 or above.

5. The applicants should not have acquired any Chinese government scholarship, Confucius Institute scholarship, Shenzhen University Outstanding Student Scholarship of that academic year, or any other form of Chinese government funding.

三、奖学金名额：8名

The number of reward: 8 persons

四、奖学金金额：10000元/人/学年

Amount and Privilege：10000yuan/person/academic year

五、申请时间和方式When and How to Apply

申请时间：2019年8月28日-9月4日

Application dates: From August 28^thto September 4^th, 2019

申请方式：申请人需要在上述时间内将电子材料和纸质版材料提交至综合楼320办公室

Application method: The applicants need to submit digital materials and paper materials to Rm.320 of Zonghe Building.

六、申请材料Required Application Materials

1.《广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金年度申请表（一）》，由申请人本人签字。

2. 2018-2019学年成绩单，绩点3.4以上，2018-2019年度必修课程为B以上。

3. HSK4级或以上考试证书复印件（英语授课的专业可不要求，提交复印件的学生注册时原件需接受检查，一旦发现证件伪造将取消录取资格）。

4. 护照复印件（有效期内的普通护照）。

5. 证件照3张（同护照照片尺寸，申请表上贴一张，并提供电子文档jpg格式）。

6.音乐专业的需提交本人作品的光盘；美术专业的需提交本人2张素描画、2张色彩画以及2张其他作品的光盘。

★必要时，我校会要求申请人提交补充材料。

★如有可以证明自己综合能力的文件，如获奖证书、奖状、国外大学本科以上录取通知书等，可在申请时一并提交。

★不论录取与否，以上材料一律不予退还。

1.Guangdong Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship Application Form 1(It could be downloaded in the attachment files) signed by the applicants.

2. Original transcripts of 2018 -2019 academic year with GAP of 3.4 or above. Grades of compulsory courses of that academic year must be B or above.

3. Copy of HSK4 or above certificate (only for applicants apply for Chinese taught programs) which will be well examined. The applicants would be disqualified, if forgery was found.

4. Copy of the information page on the passport (should be within the validity period).

5. 3 identification photos (the same size as the passport photo, should put one on the application form, and JPG format of the photo should also be submitted).

6. Students of music major need to submit a CD of their personal works; students of art major need to submit two primers, two color drawings and 2 CDs of some other personal art works.

★Supplementary materials would be asked when necessary.

★Substantial documents like certificates of awards, certificates of commendation, foreign university undergraduate admission notice could raise the profile, the applicants could submit them as well.

★Documents wouldn’t be returned under any circumstances.

七、奖学金评选和结果公布

Appraisal and Announcement

申请者9月份报到入学后，我校将组织专家综合考虑申请者的学业成绩、学术能力、科研成果和导师意见并确定候选人名单。于2019年9月向广东省教育厅提交奖学金候选人名单，由广东省教育厅对名单进行最终审核并确定最终获奖名单。2019年10月下旬公布获奖名单。

After the registration of the applicants, experts will be organized to appraise the applicant's documents and determine the final list of candidates , it will be submitted to the Guangdong provincial education department in September 2019. The Guangdong provincial education department will proceed with final assessment.The list of final winners will be announced in October.

八、奖学金的发放Distribution

获奖名单公布后，将在2019年11月份通知安排学生签领奖学金，报至学校财务部，由学校一次性发至获得者的个人中国银行账户。获奖学生在12月底前可收到奖学金。

After the winner list is announced, students will be notified to do the signature confirmation in November. Once the confirmation is done, scholarship will be distributed to the recipient's personal Bank-of-China (inside Shenzhen University, next to the library) bank account before the end of December.
