Introduction to SZU and CIE

Shenzhen University is the first comprehensive university established in Shenzhen and ranked 20th nationwide in terms of comprehensive performance in China. The campus is beautiful, with well-developed living facilities and convenient transportation. SZU started to enroll international students since 1987 and has nurtured over 20,000 international students so far. In 2019, SZU was granted the National Quality Certification of Studying in China by the China Education Association for International Exchange.

Adopting a multi-cultural curriculum featuring both local and global issues, CIE does not only offer regular degree programs at its core, but also develops flexible on-demand non-degree programs featuring different course components and learning periods. SZU is one of the most recognized and established institute for international Chinese education in Shenzhen.


The faculty team is highly qualified — all instructors have over ten years of experience in international Chinese education and hold TCFL certificates, more than half of them hold the title of professor or doctoral degree. The program enjoys an excellent student reputation, with a course renewal rate exceeding 80%.

Introduction to the Program
Overview: The Business Chinese Program is aimed at improving Chinese communication skills effectively in business events as well as daily business-related routines and social contacts for learners with business needs, prospective job seekers and the working population in China. The activities organized by the college will be targeted to the weekend business classes, such as cultural festivals, sports meetings, visits to famous enterprises, etc. While learning Chinese, students can integrate into the campus culture and atmosphere, and have more opportunities to understand the enterprises and management of Shenzhen (Specific visiting enterprises and activities will be arranged according to the actual situation)

The course information about Spring 2026 Business weekend Chinese Program are hereby notified as follows:
(1) Program Name: Basic Business Chinese, Intermediate Business Chinese
(2) Teaching method: Offline courses
If students are unable to attend classes due to business trips, they can apply to the teacher in advance and attend the course online through the online-course APP (Tencent Meeting).
(3) Course Name and Class Time:
March 2026 - July 2026 [4 classes every Saturday, (40 minutes per class)]

Students of Business Chinese Weekend Program can apply for Shenzhen University campus card after admission, which can be used for campus facilities such as canteens, libraries, sports halls, swimming pools and golf courses.
