Subordinate to Shenzhen University, Shenzhen University Hong Kong College works to promote the two-way integrated development of education in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, serve the development of the Greater Bay Area, and provide more options for students to enjoy quality higher education locally. SZU collaborates with Hong Kong Ta Kung Wen Wei Media Group and other organizations to establish this new form of college that integrates industrial and educational practices, and cultivates outstanding media talents. The campus offers SZU's bachelor programs conducted at Hong Kong, which are registered by the Hong Kong Education Bureau under the Section 10 of the Non-local Higher and Professional Education (Regulation) Ordinance (Cap. 493) (Registration No. 233326, 233327).

2. Type and Duration of the Programs
Type of the programs: full-time

3. Eligibility
Applicants must be Non-Chinese citizens with valid foreign passports and shall be 18-30 years old. He / She should be in good health conditions and of good conduct. He / She should also abide by the Chinese laws, regulations and the rules of the university.
Applicants should be graduated from high school or above (Applicants who are still in the last year of high school can provide expected graduation certificate for submitting application while the official graduation certificate must be provided before enrollment).
Applicants should meet the corresponding language level requirements (The language proficiency certificate must be within the validity period).
HSK 5 with scores above 180
Native speakers of Chinese can be exempted from the corresponding language proficiency certificate after being recognized by our university.
Comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Education's document [2020] No.12.
The No.12 Document of 2020 issued by the Ministry of Education, PRC is administered by the University. Two important items of the Document are to note. First, according to Article 5 of Nationality Law of The People's Republic of China, a person whose parents are both Chinese citizens and have both settled abroad, or one of whose parents is a Chinese citizen and has settled abroad, and who has acquired foreign nationality at birth shall not have Chinese nationality. Since 2021, those applying to study at universities or junior colleges of China as international students, should satisfy the following additional requirements:
1) Applicants must hold valid foreign passports or other relevant international recognized documents for at least 4 years; meanwhile, in the latest 4 years (by each April 30th of the year of university registration), the applicants must live overseas for more than 2 years (Living overseas for 9 months in a year can be regarded as 1 year, which is subject to the exit-entry stamps on passport.).
2) Applicants who have immigrated to a foreign country from the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan region and apply to study at universities or junior colleges of China as international students should be subject to the above regulations as well.

Please log on website of CIE: http://lxs.szu.edu.cn to register online.
Log in application system, select “HK Undergraduate” under Application Student Category, fill in personal information, upload documents as required and then submit application.
Required documents for visa application will be notified by Shenzhen University Hong Kong College after students have been admitted.
5. Application Materials
Please prepare the following materials before applying:
Scanned copy of high school certification and transcript. Recent graduates shall provide pre-graduation certificate which shows your expected graduation time and present the original high school certification, transcripts, and their translations when you register.

Two Recommendation Letters (email, phone number and signature should be included.) and a Study Plan (around 500 words) should be provided.
In addition to the application materials detailed above, applicants should submit other supplementary materials required by SZU in time.
Documents other than Chinese or English are required to be translated and notarized.
Applicants who provide incomplete materials will not be accepted. The materials above won’t be returned whether you are admitted or not.
6. Admission Procedure
After the application deadline, professional college of SZU will organize a panel of experts to conduct application documents review and professional assessment on the applicants. Remote or face-to-face interviews may be needed at this stage, if deemed necessary.
Pre-admission results will be sent to applicants by email and admission results can be checked through the online application system between July and August.
After confirmation of the list of admitted applicants, scanned copies of admission packages will be sent to the email address provided by the applicants between July and August.
Admitted students are required to register on-site at Shenzhen University Hong Kong College in accordance with the date and the address stated in Admission Notice. Early registration is not accepted.
Original documents such as Graduation Certificate/Diploma, Language Proficiency Certificate will be verified on the registration day. Students who fail to provide or verify their original documents will be disqualified for admission.
7. Fees
Application Fee: 500 HKD. Application fee is non-refundable once paid. An application will not be processed until the application fee is paid.
Registration Fee: 3,000 HKD. Registration Fee will be paid at the time of registration and is non-refundable once paid.
Tuition Fee:
100,000 HKD/person/academic year

The above fees will be charged in the name of the Hong Kong Merito College of Higher Education Limited, which is the operator of non-local courses of the program. The receipts will also be issued to candidates by Hong Kong Merito College of Higher Education Limited.
8. Scholarships
Liyuan International Scholarship: Admitted applicant who officially enrolled as a student of Shenzhen University Hong Kong College in 2024 academic year will be able to apply for Liyuan International Scholarship in accordance with Regulations on Scholarships of International Students of SZU. Details of various class honors are listed as below:

The Pioneer Freshman Scholarship: Admitted applicant who officially enrolled as a student of Shenzhen University Hong Kong College in 2024 academic year will be awarded with the Pioneer Freshman Scholarship. Details of various class honors are listed as below:

9. Other Information
Admitted students will enroll and study in Shenzhen University Hong Kong College and relevant training and management principles will be implemented in accordance with the Regulations on the Administration of Undergraduate Students of Ordinary Higher Education of Shenzhen University (Revised). Students who wish to study in Shenzhen Campus during their academy may attend an exchange program for one semester or one academic year after evaluated and approved by Shenzhen University.
These are registered courses under the Non-local Higher and Professional Education (Regulation) Ordinance in Hong Kong. It is a matter of discretion for individual employers to recognize any qualification to which these courses may lead.
