On the afternoon of June 20, 2025, golden sunlight bathed the multifunctional hall of Shenzhen University’s Alumni Square in a warm glow. Here, theCollege ofInternational Exchange held a meticulously prepared graduation ceremony for the Class of 2025, themed “Crossing Mountains and Seas, Lighting Up the Future.”

As the screen illuminated, a heartfelt video brimming with memories and blessings began to play. Scenes of shared journeys and genuine bonds forged across languages and cultures glowed on display—moments that brought a shimmer to countless eyes and kindled warmth in every heart.

Dean Pan Yanchun stepped onto the stage with measured grace, offering his heartfelt congratulations to the graduates: "Dear students, you crossed mountains and seas to arrive here, weaving the vibrant tapestry of Shenzhen University with your youth. Today, as you embark on new journeys, may you carry our university's motto—'Self-reliance, Self-discipline, Self-empowerment'—and ride the steed of your dreams to light up the future! No matter how far you go,Shenzhen University will always take pride in you." His earnest words, weighted with conviction, stirred waves of applause.

Representing the faculty, Professor Jiang Yuxin delivered a speech brimming with the tenderness and wistfulness unique to a mentor.
She reminisced about the shared moments with her students—the lively classroom discussions, the heartfelt conversations after class, the struggles and triumphs of their growth. Student representatives Kolotnitska Yuliia and Park Eun Byol stood in the spotlight, expressing the collective sentiments of the graduating class in fluent and heartfelt Chinese.

Then came the ceremony's most sacred and exhilarating moment—the conferring of degree certificates and graduation gifts. Amidst solemn music, graduates clad in dignified academic regalia stepped forward one by one, their hearts swelling with emotion. As college leaders personally placed the weighty diplomas into their hands, as tassels were moved from right to left, as gazes met and hands clasped in congratulation—every drop of effort and perspiration transformed into radiant, triumphant smiles.

An international fashion show featuring students from diverse countries stole the spotlight - their confident strides radiated youthful brilliance, while their distinctive traditional costumes flowed like a living world map, glittering with the radiant splendor of multiculturalism.


PARK EUN BYOL from Koreaslender fingers danced across the guqin strings as she performed "Drunken Ecstasy"—the melody oscillating between passionate intensity and serene contemplation. The ancient Eastern cadence flowing through her fingertips spoke volumes about international students' profound fascination with Chinese cultural heritage.

Chen Zhi Liang's rendition of "The Sky's No Limit" soared through the hall—his clarion voice piercing hearts as it gave wings to every graduate's yearning for boundless horizons and infinite possibilities.

Belarusian student Dziabiolaya Katsiaryna and Chinese classmate Lai Jiahui mesmerized the audience with their duet "Dream Splendor of the Orient"—their fluttering water sleeves and ethereal movements transformed classical Eastern beauty into living poetry, becoming the most exquisite testament to the spiritual connection between local and international students.

Indonesian student Yang Kelly cradled her guitar, softly singing "The Wind Rises"—her crystalline voice intertwining with the gentle melody like a summer breeze caressing the soul, carrying both nostalgia for days past and hope for the journey ahead.
